Fried Okra. Flour instead of cornmeal?

I don't have any cornmeal? Could I use all purpose flour or just wait to get some? Because I haven't found anything flour sticks as well as the cornmeal does.

  1. You could use flour, although I would suggest that you find something to season the flour before you dredge.  The cornmeal is denser and has some flavor, so my personal opinion is to wait until you have some cornmeal.
