Fried mars bars?

People in scotland seem to like them its like a mars bar battered then fried they are actually nice does anywhere else have wierd things they do with food I can try

i have never tried them i tought they sounded disgusting! when my kids were young they used to buy them our local chippy will fry any chocolate for the kids for 5p

Bennigan's (restaurant) had fried Twinkies, Hostess Cupcakes and Twix bars on their dessert menu a few months ago! ..... All 3 of them on the same plate, with drizzled chocolate & caramel:) Sounded like a triple heart attack, waiting to happen:)...........One of the very best, newest & trendiest, appetizers is fried DILL PICKLES. They're wonderful!

Toast with jam spread on it, sliced banana on top, and then cheese melted on top of it all :P mmmmm

Or - this is something my sister does - get some pringles and chew about 3 or 4 in your mouth. Then spit them out and sandwich the chewed up stuff in between two other pringles. This is probably th worst suggestion you're gonna get but it tastes alright :) lol

I've had one before in canterbury - I quite like them actually! Very hard to eat though. There's a shop near me that does scorpians in vodka, and chocolate covered ants - I've never gone as far as to try them though!

Sorry Frankie Doodle but I also live in Glasgow and have a friend who loves these disgusting sounding things.

Although she swears a Deep Fried Toffee Crisp is the best.

I love fried mars bars, in the chippie I worked in we would batter and fry any sweet people took in. Heard disease is rife up here doc! -- ABERDEEN!!

deep fried mars were a creation of a chip shop owner in a town called Corby. many people actually call my horrible town little Scotland due to the amount of scotch folk here. Corby is bang in the middle of England so they didn't originally start being made in Scotland. but my answer to your question is i really prefer deep fried creme eggs....lovely...yumyum

avocado chocolate mousse!!! you cant even taste the avocados. just take some mashed avocados, sugar, cocoa powder...... blah blah blah look it up on the internet :)
