Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has revealed that Brad Friedel remains his first choice goalkeeper after the American put in another excellent performance in goal for the club.

Friedel has been so impressive as of late that he has restricted high profile summer signing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international goalkeeper signed for Tottenham just hours before the transfer window shut down, and is yet to make his league
debut.
Lloris was considered to be Friedel’s immediate and long term replacement, but it looks as if the Frenchman will have to wait for his chance.
Villas-Boas had publicly stated his appreciation for Friedel and admitted that he will be sticking with him as his first choice goalkeeper for the season. The manager praised the American for his performance against QPR and admitted that it may take more
than just one bad performance by Friedel to make him consider giving Lloris a start.
Speaking to the press, Villas-Boas said:
