Tottenham Hotspur’s American shot-stopper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brad-Friedel-c7953 feels that the

Friedel, who turned 41 this year, started off his career in the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385 being the better known teams that he represented.
The American goalkeeper joined Tottenham last season after three years with Aston Villa, following the expiration of his contract with the club from Birmingham. He signed a two-year contract with Spurs and featured for them in all major competitions, replacing

It seems like the Spurs have reportedly entered talks with Lyon’s French international goalkeeper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hugo-Lloris-c16408. With Friedel nearing retirement, manager Villas-Boas has identified him as the American’s long term replacement and future Tottenham number 1.
As of now, Brad Friedel is perfectly content with his club, and had positive things to say about the appointment of Villas-Boas as manager.
"You can only take people on what you see, and from what I have seen he is a very ambitious manager, he is very organized and training has been very sharp," Friedel said.
"He has let us know he wants to come here to win things, so in the first couple of days, everything looks very good."
"The club did a very good http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 of going out to get someone very ambitious.”
Friedel knows that he may feature less for Spurs, but has shown no concerns about this. He also revealed that this may be his last season as a footballer, but he still hopes to help his club in whatever way possible.
The keeper is looking forward to the coming season and can’t wait to see the new signings play in a Tottenham jersey.
The North London club signed Icelandic international Gylfi Sigurdsson from Hoffenheim earlier this summer, and have recently captured the services of Belgian centre-half http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jan-Vertonghen-c17814 from Ajax. The club is currently in discussions with Hugo Lloris and
are also on the brink of permanently sealing the move for Manchester City’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emmanuel-Adebayor-c12526.
Despite all the new names coming in, some old ones may depart. One such player who may exit White Hart Lane this summer is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857, who is linked with Spanish giants Real Madrid. Speaking on the Luka Modric saga, Friedel said:
"I can't see this club, with the ambition they have, allowing someone to go without having a replacement. We are definitely not a selling club."
