Friend Problems! Need Urgent Help! For Girls and Guys!?

This annoying girl who is mean keeps insulting me in emails. I dont want to be mean because if I am mean she spreads rumors about me. What should I tell her?

Block her e mail, if this doesn't work just change your e mail. People like this just want to stir up trouble and won't be happy unless someone is miserable.

Be super nice to her. Give her compliments and ignore her insults. She just wants to get a rise out of you so she can have something to blackmail you with. If you respond to her with the complete opposite of what she's expecting, she'll be baffled. Then you can tell all of YOUR friends that she's horrible for calling you names even though you were nice to her repeatedly. Beat her at her own game. ;)

Tell her nothing. Block her emails or just delete them. The more you contact her, the longer she will keep doing this. Ignore her and she most likely will get bored and stop this behavior.

You have the right to feel comfortable and not allow a person to harass you. If it continues after a while, document all contact with her and file a complaint with your local Police Department.

Omj! this exact thing happened to me last year. Except it was texting, not emails. But anyway, what I did was block her number, (in your case it's email) and I didn't talk to her, except in classes at school. I didn't sit with her at lunch either.

Make sure you ignore her insults, and be nice to her. And if she ever says anything like really insulting or something, just say "ok". When I did that, She would stop because she knew it wasn't bothering me.

Now, this year me and her are really good friends. You don't need to be friends with her in the future, but you should be nice enough to each other that she shouldn't be insulting you in emails or spreading rumors about you.

Best thing to do, IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE! I know its difficult to do... I've barely managed to do it at times, but trust me she's just after any kind of reaction she can get. No matter what you say to her she'll find a way of teasing you over it.

If she does spread rumours (which I'm betting she will anyway), if you have a strong group of friends keep them close... they will defend you if they're true friends. I know alot of my friends helped me through when I was going through high school, and they still do :)

Its pathetic that this girl can't even say things to your face she's doing via e-mail (That's one comment you could write back if completely necessary) lol but I'm contradicting myself.

Just ignore it honey, be the bigger person and let her do what she wants. Its only e-mails after-all, and even though I'm sure she's saying some horrible things. We should only care about what the people we ACTUALLY care about think. Don't care about some girl who's just trying to act tough by typing some words and sending them to whoever she thinks she's tougher than. Just turn your back on the b**ch and she'll eventually get over it :)
