  1. and now his military career is permanently ended before it began.  he will NEVER be able to serve in ANY Branch.

  2. He cant ship now and his contract is revoked. He can reapply in 12 months but will need a waiver. If he was one of my bones (applicants), he would be in front lean and rest for a week with my nose in his ear! But he is not subject to the UCMJ. So no jailtime or anything but he's not too bright.

    Bonehead!

  3. Good, the military don't want druggies, and I sure as h**l don't want a druggie watching my back in the middle of a war.

  4. hahaha

  5. Your friend didn't ship & was discharged from the military.

  6. if your friend failed on ship day then it means he shipped within a few days of taking the initial drug test.  In other words, he just enlisted a few days ago and had a ship day right around the corner.

The military has changed the way they drug test.  They test for the physical.  The urine is held for a couple of weeks and tested again.  They do this because many applicants have used over the counter meds to mask the results as negative.

The military has been hip to this for some time so they test it twice, but after whatever they buy has had the chance to wear off.

They are also testing you on ship day but the results usually come back while in training where they usually smack u with a discharge.

On rare occasions, they perform a simple drug test on ship day but that's rare and expensive.  They DO THIS if they suspect you're hot.

  7. Did he do drugs, if so chances are, the test was successful - guess there is a flip side to everything.
