Friend got caught by the cops driving without license????

Question

What will happen to my record if my friend got caught by the cops driving without insurance and with no license and i was the passenger. im so scared because i dont know if its goin to affect my record.. I gave the cops my Id (im 19 ) and after they checked my information they left me go... can somebody tell me ???? thank you :)

You can fight it if you get a lawyer, Like why did you get pulled over in the first place, What was the probable cause to cease you. Did the cop just come from a bad call and decided to get someone to release his frustrations, a lawyer can get a daily report from the officers supervisor. I am not a lawyer, So let the doctors do the doctoring and the lawyers do the lawyering.

You weren't driving, you should be fine.  On the other hand, your friend is going to be learning a tough lesson.

As long as you weren't the driver, there's no problem on your part. You had your ID on you, and all they want to know about the passengers is who they are. Your friend, however, will have to appear in court and prove that he has a driver's license and insurance. If he does not have a driver's license, at least by Michigan law, he would be jailed for 90 days.

If they didn't write you a ticket you're fine. They probably didn't even keep a record of it.

You were not the driver.  Police Officer let you go.  You did nothing wrong.  Nothing will go on record because you did not commit an offense.  

Nothing to be scared about.  But it is about time to learn about maturity.  If you are still concerned, call or visit the police station and talk to an Officer.  Nothing to be afraid of.  And stop hanging out with losers like your friend.  They will only drag you down with them.
