Friend in Love with Teacher! HELP!?

I have a friend who is in love with her 7th grade english teacher. She is in 8th grade now and they are still in the same building together. She is in love with him. I am not kidding this has gone wayyyyyyyy past a crush. They are pretty close. Closer then other students because she confides in him her family history with is very bad where her dad is concerned. She is convinced she can't live with out him and is saying stuff like "my life is worthing living without him" she is acctualy considering sucide. She is taking pain killers and drinking straight from the bottle and crys constantlay over him. She has all kinds of pictures of him and everything. I think she might actually hurt her self what sould i do? Please Help!

So i've actually been involved with suicide in my family. It's not fun.

You have a number of options, you could tell the school councilor confidentially and have them keep your name from her, you could tell her parent or guardian. If she is already doing things that concern you, its not fair that she is scaring you. Even if she were to be mad that you told someone, you are doing the right thing. I promise you'll feel a lot better if you talk to someone close to you. You could tell your parent and ask them how you should handle it. Talk to someone you trust, and you're already heading in the right direction by asking for help here.

This sounds very serious.  She is obviously not in her right mental state of mind.  Plus, medication and alcohol at that early age is not a good thing for her to do.  I rarely ever suggest anyone going to a psychiatrist because a lot of things are subjective but this seems a clear-cut case of insanity.  Maybe even committing her to a half-way house or something like that would help.  I hate suggesting that idea but she does need help.
