Friend is 34 weeks, and has these symptoms, any ideas?

Question

First of all she has a bladder infection, and is being treated for it, which gives her yeast infections..

But she is having pains in her legs, back and cramps like menstral ones..

Her doc told her not to worry, but if she was going into labor, he woud stop it anyway, wants her to wait till she's 37+ weeks..

Has this happened to you?

Know what it is, if not labor??

that is just from the pressure of the growing baby inside of her. its noraml...

It could easily be braxton hix contractions. These are just "practice" contractions before the labor. She will know they are true contractions when the are at CONSISTANT intervals.

The pain in her legs can be anything from pressure on her siatic (spelling is wrong) nerve. But tell her not to lay directly on her back! That will cause something called vena cava syndrom wich is very dangerous (sometimes early signs are pain in legs). It is easily avoided by always being slanted somehow....

She's made it through the most important growth points! Labor is close!
