Okay, my friend has been freakin out these last 8 or 9 days or so cus 8 or 9 days ago he (like most teens) was lookin for some...adult stuff (pics) on the internet, well he searched google images and said he saw a pic he liked with a girl that looked at age (18+) and he says it opened a page with many pics that you can click on and it takes you to the pics page (like i guess if you like 1 pic and click on it, it will take you to a page with more of the same pic, idk how to explain it) well SOME girls appeared to be under 18 (he says like 15-17 ish) he says that the top said all models were 18+, well he clicked on a few pics but most didnt work, 1 did, sorta, it opened another window, and the window that opened up was like the last one, and had girls that looked under 18 again so he freaked out. He thinks the cops are gona arrest him and charge him for a mistake. He looks at legit stuff, hes not into sick c**p like that, so hes scared. its been 9 freaking days! Can he stop worrying? he says hes been running CCleaner (Gutman35 passes), AVG antivirus, Malwarebytes (anti spyware) and File Shredder(Gutman 35 passes) every minute for those last 9 days. Is he being over cautious? he says he didnt save/download any of the c**p he saw, he says hes been running all these programs pretty much 24/7. Can he stop worrying now? hes confined to me because hes scared, and well i want to show him he needs to stop freaking out, it WAS an accident after all and he cleared everything after and he shut the window down. please help us...he needs to put his anxiety to rest! thanks so much and God bless

  1. Tell your friend to stop freaking out, tell him that that c**p is very rarely on on Google, let alone to the Google Engine.

    He should be okay.

  2. No, the feds have no way of tracking that. Well, they probably do, but they wouldn't do anything about it. If the website said "18+", then the website would get in more trouble for posting it than your friend would for looking at it.

  3. He's giving the cops way way too much credit. They don't have the time or effort to go after every single person who downloaded an illegal picture, just like they don't have time to go after every person who smoked a joint or every person who jaywalked. There are millions of people who commit crimes every day both big and small, some of them by accident, some of them not. Its only the most obvious and serious crimes that police have the manpower to pursue, and this is neither.

I'd say your friend needs to calm down and stop watching so much Law and Order.

  4. Aside from anything else you actually answered your own question...

"he says that the top said all models were 18+, "

If the site has a disclaimer stating that the models were all over 18, you can be certain that they are, should that not be the case then the issue in regards to the law isn't with your friend, but with the site that hosted the pictures, and the photographer who took them.

Tell your friend not to worry...although perhaps he should spend less time doing the 1 click shuffle, and more time going out and trying to meet REAL people....(just an observation).

  5. send all information to the FBI and try to explain to them how to find the sites.

  6. i guess he'll be alright ? but dude, like stop with the p**n, if you want the real deal getta girlfriend and that'll be even better. but stop with the internet p**n before you get in more troubleeee.

  7. listen, you can scrub, clean, erase, reformat and anything else but the images can be found. however, tell your friend to relax cause the cops got bigger things to catch, if your friend is still worried, tell him to remove and open the hard drive, remove the discs inside and burn them.

  8. he'll get life! why would ya all look at kiddie p**n.non of it's good.real men don't need p**n!

  9. Oh, I would say he's not in any trouble unless he goes out and starts raping young girls or something.  Just don't do it again.
