Friend just went to jail, need some help?

Question

Ok so my friend is in the Acworth jail in georgia right now. All i got was a message from him on my phone saying he was in jail.

What i am trying to find out is what he went to jail for and if there is a bail out for him. Does anyone know where i can find this information. The jail phone is closed until monday (so says their website)

I doubt he will have a bail because he is on felony probation, so i really just want to find out what he went to jail for. Anyone know where they just public arrest records for the last week?

Im assuming its marijuana possession, but i dont know and want to find out for sure.

If he went to jail, and already has a felony conviction, you are wasting your time worrying about him until Monday.  If I had a kid and they were in there on a felony charge I would let them sit there.  At least I know where they are at and they aren't going to die for the most part in there.  Perhaps it will teach them a lesson of where they don't want to be.  One time a family member of my husbands was in jail, and this was about his 3rd time.  A person called my husband to raise money for his bail.  My husband said, let me check and see how much change I've got, and jingled his pockets.  She got so mad, but they couldn't get him out of jail and he never went back again.

You could wait until Monday to call and talk to him about it.

Go to your loval county clerk of courts website

find public access

enter his name

What you could do is, go to the jail where your friend is being held and they should tell you the bond amount and what he/she is being charged with......

i would go to the jail and ask alothough they may not give you the answer or just ask about visting hours and your friend can tell you for himself

if he went to jail try to contact him or ask someone in police station they may check in their computer for your friend

Go to the jail directly if you can, if not try looking him up on offender locater for Georgia..

i know there is a list of people who are in prison, but i don't believe they put out those same records for just jail.

pay money for him to get out of there or don't make friends with him cause he is in jail and he did a bad thing

You could probably check your local newspaper's website....I don't know if it would be there but stuff like that is sometimes posted in our local newspaper.
