Friend wants haircut advice?

I would say, since it's obvious he takes care of it, not to cut it off, lol.

If he sat in my chair (yes, I'm a hairstylist), I'd take about 2.5 - 3 inches off, so it'd still be kind of long, and keep his bangs long, b/c that way he would still be able to push them over the opposite side..and I think I'd layer it..So it'd be funky, but still long and workable. It'd be kind of punky, but preppy at the same time.

Cut it sort of shaggy/razored (?) and probably about eye level or a bit longer? Like about the length of the shorter bangs over his left eye would be good I think.
