Friend was buyinmy car that has a lein.I want the car back What do I do?

They have only payed 800.00 on it and just got hit from behind in it,my husband is freakin out.They are know sayin that they will not return it till they get some money back on it.My husband who is in Iraq will not let them just have it for 3or4 months for free what do I do?

If you own the car on paper (the title is in your name), then tell them you want the car back. if they don't give you the car back, call the police and tell them you lent your friend your car and they refuse to give it back.

If it's your car, you just go get it.  Take some back-up if required.

I would let them keep it and sue for the rest of the money.  Who held the insurance on the car? Who is going to pay to have the car fixed?  Have you signed the tittle over to them yet?  If you legally own the car you can just go and get it.  Even if they try to sue you for their money back they won't get anything because they used the car for 4 months.  If they legally own the car, just sue them for the remainder of the money.

As long as they are paying for the car, you cannot just take it back.  If you have a contract with then, then you have to take it to a court (sue them).  If you still have the title, then just go over there (if you have keys) and drive it away.

Next time You should just sell it out right.  No more of this long payment c**p.  You are NOT a bank. You don't have what it takes to repose a car.
