Friend with herpes??

Question

My bff has genital herpes and she is afraid to tell her man friend that she has the virus. They haven't had s*x yet (well not that i know of ) but they have kissed. She don't want to tell him because she don't want him to leave her and she is extremely embarrassed about it because she doesn't know who gave it to her. She asked me what she should do and i told her to tell him but yet, i do understand her point of view too.

What should be done????

THE BEST THING FOR HER TO DO IS TO BE HONEST. HOW WOULD SHE FEEL IF SHE WAS IN HIS SHOES? WOULD SHE RATHER SOMEONE WITH HERPES SLEEP WITH HER AND NOT TELL HER? JUST HAVE RESPECT FOR THE PERSON YOU WANT TO BE WITH. HE MAY HAVE HERPES AND NOT KNOW, SHE SHOULD HAVE HIM TESTED BEFORE HAVING s*x WITH HIM TO BE SURE ALSO. HERPES IS A VERY HARD THING TO DEAL WITH BUT ITS NOTHING THAT ANY ONE SHOULD LET CONTROL THEIR LIFE. THE MORE ONE WORRIES THE WORST THE VIRUS WILL BE FOR THEM. IF SOMEONE REALLY LOVES YOU FEELINGS WILL OUT WEIGH IT ALL

My friend had herpes also. She caught them from her husband. But my advice is I would sure tell him about this STD. It's a serious issue. Especially for him. They do have medications for herpes now. She for sure needs  to check into this. They are very affective. If he really loves her, he'll understand about her problem. Just make sure she has protected s*x with him or whomever. I'm sure he doesn't want this disease that isn't curable yet. But it can be prevented....Good Luck!
