Friends, Please share your opinions on Violation Notices from Yahoo Answers?

Even though we haven't paid for posting our questions and answers here, they are making profit of this service in advertising. At least we should expect to be treated fairly and receive proper answers when we do appeal bans. To make an appeal on Yahoo! Answers is like talking to a wall: you get no real answer, and the answer you do get is totally random bullshit that a "Cyber Tribunal" (I really wish something like that existed) would have rejected and probably exonerated the defendant.

i was told i was reported, but i do not know what will happen afterwards..

what i think of them..      ohh well..   this is public

so what.... i would not even waste time reporting someone

I gave a negative opinion on Obama and they deleted my answer for some insane reason...so much for free speech.

both links should be helpful to answer your question. there is also an appeal process however in my opinion what's the point, I didn't pay to be here so would it really matter? however if it matters to some, it takes two complaints from different users, and if it's a bogus reporting, it goes against the reporter.

one should know the guidelines.

I think that some of them are ridiculous.  Your going to report me because you didn't like my answer?  I think people that do that are lame.
