I have no hidden agenda in asking this question.

Whether I trust or not, depends entirely on my gut instinct.

  1. gut instinct, like you.

  2. i think it's just as easy if not more easy to trust them than normal friends.  but the thing is i think i'm wrong.  some people put on a fake act and when a relationship gets to a certain point they have to turn around and run.  i think i used to do that myself and tell i met someone who was like me now.  then i do it this way

  3. I take people as I find and try not to pre-judge (not successful on all occasions). I go with gut instinct and it has pretty much been spot on so far with the odd exception but such is life....

  4. It is not about trust. The people I have as contacts on here are just that. I may be interested in their views, value their opinion or think they are fun. I would never give out personal details to someone I met online, nor would I wish to meet them in person. The only person on here who knows my true identity is my other half. The rest of my contacts know the bits I choose to tell them. What I do tell them is the truth but I am not stupid enough to believe everyone tells the truth about themselves. However, it does not really matter if you are truthful or not does it?

If I am absolutly honest some of the people who tell obvious blatent lies are the funniest and provide much entertainment.

  5. well, i don't have any so......<^><..

  6. I'm not sure how to answer this one to be honest, I have a couple in my contacts that I can say I trust, but to give out my real personal information, not sure on that.. There is only one person on here that knows my real name and personal details and that is because I know him personally!!!

  7. Depends what you have to lose.

  8. I look at their answer see if what they say makes sense and if they seem to knwo what they are talking about eg if they ave experince then I decide if I trust it . Is that what you mean ?

  9. I just trust them by the things they say. But if any of them turn out to be idiots or sh*t on my it don't really surprise me because you can't know enough about a person just from what they say online.

  10. about as far as I can carry a piano.

  11. I trust all of them.  Anyone messes with me and I just bop them on the nose - problem solved!

  12. I would be very cautious about any on-line friend, it is easy to make yourself sound sincere on-line and you can not really get to know a person properly if you have never spoken verbally or met the person. Very cautious.

  13. I don't have any on-line friends because I only trust me and thee and I'm not so sure about thee.

  14. thats a good question,

I have Facebook with five friends and four of them good ones..

I know one or two that have 200+ friends, I think that they don't see many of them..

  15. I trust the ones I talk to via IM and Facebook.  They have been really good friends over the past year.  I just dont seem to get enough time to sit and chat no more (two jobs :(()

  16. Gut instinct for me also, but even my on-line "friends" aren't really friends as such, so I don't really trust many people on here.

It takes a long time to get to know me, and a long time before I will call any acquaintance of mine a friend, and to do that I will have to speak to them in person.

I guess I'm not a trusting soul and that's why I have avoided the cliques.

  17. I do not trust anyone. I play the games sometimes but that is as far as it goes.

  18. They wouldn't be friends if I didn't trust them

  19. The term 'online friends' does not compute. If you believe in this fallacy I have only sympathy for you. 'Online acquaintances' would be my choice of terminology.

  20. none intirley to the extent where they could harm me, and as for my off line friends I am very lucky ! with the exception of my family I have two I trust completely, one is named God the other is myself

  21. erm i can only trust 1 but others no never!!

  22. There are no such things.

  23. I go with my gut instinct too and trust my own suspicions. If someone or something raises my hackles or pricks up my ears then I tread cautiously and observe from afar.

  24. I don't trust anyone on line.

  25. I tried very, very hard to trust someone for a long time but was ultimately let down.

So now, by default, I don't "trust" anyone. I'll have a laugh and exchange messages, but that's as far as it goes.

  26. I would not trust anyone on here.there are stalkers everywhere just like life.what you do not see is there true face.DO not trust anyone, period. As for your gut instinct,go and test it on the big brother house,if you can name the big brother plants then you have instinct as well as having a brain
