Friends Life T20 2011- All-rounder Jack Taylor helps Gloucestershire defeat Somerset on debut
Teenage all rounder, Jack http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Taylor-c92915, who was given a cap by Gloucestershire, was excited by his match winning performance in his debut match against Somerset.
The Friends Life T20, match was played on July, 1st, 2011, at County Ground, Bristol.
Somerset Captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Marcus-Edward-Trescothick-c74400, won the toss and elected to bat and was anticipated to put a formidable score on the board.

They scored 121 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets.
The 19-year old scored 38 runs off 28 balls with the assistance of seven fours, which helped his team achieve the target with three balls to spare. He was declared ‘Player of the match’ for his glorious all round performance, which gave him lot of confidence,

“I just tried to get the ball up under the bat when I bowled because they have players capable of hitting it a long way. Then when I batted I went out to play my natural game. I managed to run myself out at the end, but we got across the finishing line and
that’s all that counts”.
Jack http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Martin-Taylor-c74942 was born on November 12th, 1991, in Banbury, Oxfordshire, a right-hand batsman and right-arm off spinner.
He has played for Oxfordshire, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gloucestershire-c785 2nd XI, and, Gloucestershire.
The right hander is an emerging all-rounder and always tries to give his best both with the bat and ball. He has performed well in the current season, which encouraged Gloucestershire to bring him to the fore. He was pleased with his performance in his debut
match and said, “I enjoyed every minute of my debut”.
Somerset holds second position in the South Group, Friends Life T20 with 16 points and Gloucestershire is nearly at the bottom of the same pool with seven points. Beating one of the strongest teams was a http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Adam-Griffith-c919 task.
It was a perfect beginning for the youngster, who has bright future ahead of him, and, his County will look forward to some more all-round performances from him, which can bring them to a respectable position.
