Friends daughter is turning 1 soon. what can i say to her to wish the baby well?

Her baby is about to be 1 years soon. I have no idea what i can say to her. we are very close. i know the baby wont really understand if i talk to her. so what can i say to the mother to wish the baby a happy birthday?examples would be great please. thank you for the help!

Mothers love to hear "oh I can't believe it's been a year already.It seems like only yesterday we watched his first entrance to his family home and now hes 1.Please give him the biggest kiss on the cheek from his aunty(insert your name here)

Why not talk to the baby itself? Just because the baby won't understand what your saying or even what you mean doesn't mean you can't tell them it. Babies love to be talked to. Buy it a present something to show that your thinking about the baby and remembering it's birthday. :-)
