Ok,

So here is the deal, my wife and I made friends with our neighbors when we bought our house.

We used to have outtings, grilling, having some drinks, etc.

Now, lately we invite them or they invite us to something which causes us to open up our day..Then they never show up or call us?

We end up sitting around and waiting for them to call to let us know when they want to head out...but twice already they have not called or messaged.

Are they trying to tell us they do not want to be around us in an indirect way?

Or are they doing this blindly not knowing they are hurting the friendship?

We are fed up...had enough of this

Thanks!

  1. Yeah it sounds like either they didn't know you were as committed to the get together as you were or they are indirectly giving you a message..

I think the issue is the commitment to the situation, I mean did you ask them why they didn't come?  Was it something important? I would have said something nonchalantly and said "We missed you guys the other day! Where were ya?".. or something..
