Friends who talk about each others business??

Question

SO just recently one of my friends told me something private about my friend, David. And I was thinking to my self well how do you know that about him? But she said dont go and tell him I told you..NOTE: WE all know each other. and some of us were really good friends at one point time.) So anyway I went back to tell him that somebody he trusted with that info is walking around telling his business. Well he went back and told the original person, Ty that he found out. And my other friend went to me and asked me why did i tell him. I felt like he should know. Because the same thing happened to me and its not good feeling....But anyway do you think I was wrong? What would you have done

I would have kept my mouth shut and made a mental note on who I could and couldn't trust with a secret. And by the way, you did the same thing that your friend did so you're no better.

Have you heard the expression...See No Evil...Hear No Evil...Speak No Evil? You were just as guilty of gossip as the next person. You should have stopped the gossip with you. Then when it came back to him, he would not see you as.....just another gossip

when you try to help out a friend, some how it comes back to bite YOU in the ***! Unfair, yes, but sometimes that's just how it works!
