we talk every day, either on the phone or smsing throughout our work days. it's not much dirty talk, unless we're going to meet to hook up.

do you think this excessive communication might mean he wants to take it further?

Keep doing what you've been doing and play it by ear. Unless your feelings have changed significantly, don't bring it up. If his feelings have changed, he'll eventually let you know. Just be ready.

yeah he wants more. friends with benefits only talk once or twice in a week. and that's to to schedule a hook up.
