Frigidaire FRS26LF8CS3 Side by Side, Freezer...

Question

Just after a great Thanksiving our Refrigerators water dispenser stopped working so i figured must be time for new filter. I should have know that filter does not go bad overnight. Next morning I am getting fruit out of lower bin and the grapes are frozen. Odd, but I deduct that the water line coiled up in the back of food compartment is frozen if the grapes and celery have been. So I go to work buy a new water filter becuase it has been 9 months and when I get home the ice is melting along with the vanilla ice cream. So we lean out both compartments let the frost free? defrost.....clean it all up replace water filter, dispenser again works once line thaws out. Pray it was a fluke and turned it back on last night crossed my fingers to see if it would work again.

I woke up this morning after 10 hours of the empty refrigerator being back on and the water dispenser lines are frozen in back of ;lower food and compartment top of freezer not cold eough to freeze bowl of water in ice cream storage area.

It seems to me that the problem (I am a novice) may be in the fans and damper system between the two compartments? It is getting cold just in the bottom portions of the freezer and food compartments.
