http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429’s Emmanuel Frimpong has gone on to hail the upcoming youngsters at the Emirates, as he feels that all the players coming up through the ranks are going to go out, and become world class players in the near future.
Frimpong went on to climb up the pecking order at the club over the last couple of seasons, but his progress has been halted due to the number of injuries that he has been picking up over the years.
At the moment, the player is on the sidelines and is recovering from a knee ligament injury that he picked up recently.
However, the player is quite happy with the young players that he has seen around the club, and he feels that Arsene Wenger is going to get the best out of them in the near future.
He told the club’s official website: “I really like Thomas Eisfeld. I've hardly ever played with him before because I have been injured, but he looks really good.”
“I also really like Kristoffer Olsson as well. When I played with them against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019, after the game me and Jack [Wilshere] said to each other, 'Wow, they are really good'.”
“The things that they do, you would think they’d already been playing for years. That’s very exciting for Arsenal. Hopefully we will see these players [coming through] over the next year or so.”
At the moment Arsenal are looking to use their younger academy players in the Capital One Cup, which is where Wenger tends to test out the capabilities of all the youngsters.
Based on the displays that they have been producing, things seem to be going rather well for the team. Arsenal seem to almost always have ample youngsters who can step up and fill in the voids left in the first team by senior players who part ways with the
club.
Nonetheless, with Frimpong admiring the youngsters at the club, he also needs to look at himself and his performances.
The player is not up to par with most of the players in the first team, and he needs to really improve his performances before he can start judging anyone else at the club.
