Frisby Barney to continue with explosive success in the Heat 3 at Peterborough

Two-year-old, Frisby Barney takes the 2 to 1 shot for the Heat 3 at Peterborough over 420 metres flat on Saturday, 28th July. Lined up for snatching away the success chances from the black hound are Yah Muppet, Masada Scolari, Markeys Dragon,
Mays Bonus and Jumeirah Dubai. The prize money set for the race is £125.
Head Bound’s son has not done much else other than winning. His very recent winning streak extends to five while he has already achieved beyond hat-trick before this one. The two-year-old black hound has raced at Peterborough, Nottingham, Romford and Shelbourne
Park.
His incredible ability of keeping a firm grip over the level of consistency has done his connections proud no matter which venue he has raced over and regardless of the distance too.
The two-year-old shot in his first hat-trick on 7th March, 2012 at Peterborough in the Grade A1 420 metres flat race. Entered as the evening’s favourite, Frisby Barney took off from the second gate and did not wait for long to lead. The David
Pruhs trained concluded the race in 25.65 seconds while winning by the margin of two lengths.
Qualifying as the runner-up was, Tullymurry Pop.
After stretching the hat-trick to four, the two-year-old out of, Airport Boss, was drilled thrice at Peterborough over 420 metres.
Proving unlucky for the black hound, the five races after the training were failures. Miraculously the sixth in line race did not only transform into a victory but led to a series of wins. This the two-year-old achieved without the backing of any training
session.
On 25th July, 2012, Frisby Barney became the favourite winner of the John Smiths Peterborough Derby 2012 – Heat 3 at Peterborough over 420 metres. Leaving the second gate had the black hound bumping but then composing form and leading on from
the second spot. The favourite entry concluded the race in 25.58 seconds while winning by the margin of 2 ¼ lengths.
Winning today will get him streak to six however he will need to look out for competition as majority of the line-up is racing today after either mild or rigorous training.
