Pretty much any place that sells airbrushes will carry frisket. They even have it at Michael's, but I think they only carry small sheets.

Frisket is good stuff, but kind of expensive for something you're just going to throw away. Depending on what kind of surface you'll be painting on, there are a number of other (cheaper) things you can use to mask your work.

If you're working on a smooth surface like metal, one thing to look into would be low tack transfer paper. Sign makers use this to transfer vinyl letters and graphics to their signs. You can draw on it, and it cuts very easily with an x-acto knife. It also leaves no adhesive residue behind when you peel it off.

Now for the cheapest trick of all. Florist's paper. You know the waxy tissue paper that flowers come wrapped in? That's the stuff. Make sure you get the kind that's wax infused. Spray it with a little low tack spray adhesive ( I like Krylon's Easy Tack ), then lay it out on your project and cut out your design with an x-acto. be very careful, it's thin stuff. This method is really only good for rougher surfaces like paper or canvas, because sometimes a little adhesive will get left behind on your work. On a smooth surface it will definitely show up. It doesn't show on a rough surface, and with the Easy Tack, you can usually just brush it off with your hand or a tack cloth. If your going to be putting down a really wet coat of paint, it's best to double up on the paper. like I said, it's thin stuff, but for general airbrush use, it works great and $20.00 worth will last you a year.
