Fritz And Shredder?

Fritz and shredder are two very strong chess programs or engines..They have different playing styles and different authors.

Basically there would probably be no detectable difference unless u are an extremely powerful chess player.  Fritz is known to be very tactical and shredder positionally solid with strong endgames.  Playing anyone of these programs on a daily basis (even tho u may lose all of the games) will certainly increase ur strength when u play with real people.

They're both strong chess programs, and I think both made in Germany.  (I know for sure Fritz is, not certain about shredder.)  Check out Rybka if you want a really strong engine ; )
