Fro cuts aka afro cuts?

I have curly hair, so if I got a fro cut to shape my hair because it grows faster in some places do you think it could work? sorry i dont have a camer so no pics, also if I got a fro cut and didnt like it do you think it would be possible to get it completely shortened after
