Yes, its a fun archtype to play casually. I personally have quite a powerful frog deck.

And to answer, no. Only monsters with "Frog" in their name are classified as "Frog" monsters.

Well there are a couple of support cards for that deck type. Like Froggy Forcefiled. Not sure if TADPOLE is considered a frog monster though.

I think it'd be hilarious to play againts a frog player. LOL!

Personally I love Dark Decks, they have tons of support cards. There are dozens of Dark deck builds to play with that are really fun.
