Frogs are digging up around sprinkler heads. I don't know how to get them out of my yard without extermination

I enjoy the ribbitting hoppers and know the value of having them around. I don't want to use pesticides or extermination. However, they dig around my sprinkler heads and are really creating a nuisance. They seem to congregate in my yard. I often have 10 or more at one time. Aside from kissing all of them and ending up with a houseful of men, I need some real answers!

  1. If you have a water source, such as the irrigation, or a pond nearby, good luck getting rid of the little critters.  Moth balls have helped me keep certain critters away from my pond.  Moth balls are pretty inexpensive, but the smell isn't all that pleasant.  Being frogs are amphibians, any pesticide you use around the area will be hazardous to them.  Unfortunately I live in Louisiana, so we've become accustomed to them.

  2. My cat chased/caught most of the frogs in our yard. I had to rescue one from her mouth, and another one I spotted hopping away with her trotting along behind in pursuit. Get a cat?
