From Baden-Baden, Germany to Paris?

I am traveling from Baden-Baden (Germany) to Paris in July and I'm wondering if train would be the fastest way. Should I take the train from a bigger city (like Frankfurt) to avoid having to change trains or would I need to do that anyway?
