From Ho Chi Minny in Vietnam to Kosamui in Thailand can you tell me what is the average price for fly ticket?

I'm looking to several ways to go from South Vietnam to East Thailand. It could be including Ferryboat or flys. Thank you.

Koh samui....everyone goes to Koh Samui.

Your best and cheapest way would be air asia. I flew HCM City to Kuala Lumpur for about $250 USD. it is easy to get a bus up to Thailand and to to jump off point to Samui, phan ngan, and Koh Tao. The buses are easy to get and very cheap. Otherwise, fly HCM to Bangkok, should be about $200...air asia. and catch the train to Chumphon for about $5-10 dollars for an overnight sleeper. Chumpon is one of the jump off points for the islands. The southern jump off point is Surat Thani. Ferrys leave often from both points.

Trains and buses are very easy to arrange and catch. Suggest a lonely planet south east asia on  shoestring if you dont already have one

Would recommend flying to BKK instead of KUL its less hassle. From there you can make arrangements right at the air port for bus, train or flt. Flying is the best especially if you arent into roughing it on a bus or train. A couple years ago the cost rt frm BBK by air was less than $130.
