Hi,

Can someone please explain to me what is the easiest/cheapest way to go from Laguardia airport in New York City to Middletown in New York State (on a Sunday evening)

Is there a metro or rail station at the airport?

can I take it to get another rail station to arrive to Middletown station?

Detailed directions would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

There are trains to the other two big airports, JFK and Newark. But there is no train to Laguardia.

To get to Middletown , NY, you have to go to Hoboken , New Jersey and take the  Port Jervis Line.. This train is jointly run by New Jersey Transit and Metro North.

    Here is the Sunday schedule:

    (Hoboken to Port Jervis)

This map shows Middletown , on the Port Jervis line:

Here is a bus map of Queens (the County Laguardia is in):

LaGuardia is the airport next to Flushing Bay.

  2. aviatersim is right about hoboken to middleton. I can add that your best option for getting to hoboken is to get on the subway to lower manhattan. I Know that at 34th st. penn station you can readly find the transfer info you need. It will involve walking underground for a few minutes and a fare to be paid to use the hudson transfer.
