I will be arriving on Wed 3rd Sep around Noon and leaving on Sat 6th Sep around Noon also. I want to go from the Airport (Domestic) to Olympic Park - Homebush. Not sure which option is best, Taxi or Train. There will be three of us.

Thanks

  1. I'd say train. From either the Domestic or Internal Terminal, catch the train up to Central Station then head to Platform 22 and wait for the train to Lidcombe. Once you're on it, catch it all the way to Lidcombe, get off and look around for the signs to the platform to Olympic Park Station (yes, it does have its own separate platform).

    I hope this helps.

  2. train.  the sydney public transport is amazing and it will save you a bunch

  3. Id say taxi. The train network is good and if you were alone, Id say to take the train, but if the three of you split the fair for a taxi, it should work out slightly cheaper, and it will be a much quicker trip.

  4. If there will be 3 of you I would say take a taxi from the airport it will be much quicker and stress free.

  5. definitely train, it will be heaps cheaper than a taxi, train ticket might cost around $15 or so a taxi would be about $80. The train station at olympic park is right in the middle of the park complex very handy, you would have to change at central though
