  1. mass of the ball doesnt depend the speed . . . . . . only the shape and size matters . . . . . . . . .so,one having a smoth frictionless surface will fall faster than other . . . . . . since the golf ball is smaller  in size, it'l fall faster . . . .. .

  2. Most physics would tell you to throw out friction and just work with falling objects in a vacuum, no air resistance. In this case, they would both fall at the same rate, due to gravity. With air resistance however, which, with friction, slows down objects in flight, the bowling ball would fall slower than the golf ball because of the bowling balls larger diameter and surface area creating more friction, and drag.

  3. What he said. The Apollo 15 crew demonstrated this on the moon by dropping a feather & a hammer.

Edit: What the 1st answer gave.

  4. I'm going to go ahead and assume that air resistance and terminal velocity are not in effect.

Everything falls at the same rate.  The acceleration caused by gravity is 9.81 m/s^2 (or 32.2 ft/s^2).

The golf ball and bowling ball will fall at the same speed and land at the same time.
