  1. Scientists say that dreams are a way for your mind to explain what is unexplainable. They have found that if we didn't have dreams, then people would go insane, because of all of the unsolved mysteries in their subconscious mind. There are probably many more reasons for someone to dream. In the Bible, there were dreams that came from God, like in the story of Nebuchadnezzar, or in the story of Joseph. If it is God that is speaking to us in a dream, we should should seek out what He was trying to tell us in the Bible, in prayer, and if those don't work, you might want to explain your dream to an elder in the church to see if he can make anything of it.

  2. They are just dreams. Memorized events or thoughts that are in your mind. Don't be so superstitious.

  3. God uses dreams and visions to communicate with us. This is the time when we don't have distractions, our spirits are quiet. We aren't brain dead when we sleep that is why we also have bad dreams, this is our own mind working. They are influenced from things that happen during the day, or day residue.

  4. It is chemicals in your brain creating illusions. It is thought that DMT is  released in our brain while we sleep to create the dreams. Nothing godlike about it.

Oh but you wanted a Christian point of view.
