From a biblical stand point why is cloning wrong?

there is nothing in scripture that explicitly says but it's the view of the church that it's wrong. where is this addressed in the bible?

  1. Because God gives everyone a soul that will one day go to be with Him in Heaven. If someone is cloned they are created by human from someone elses genes, so they don't have a soul. That is at least how alot of people view it.  


  2. Because cloning involves science... and science is always wrong. They get their answers by thinking and conducting experiments and looking at evidence... Godless heathens.

  4. It says in Genesis that man is made in God's image, not a copy of a copy. So if your kids look to much like their father, chuck 'em over a rock because it is too close to cloning.

  5. It's up to God whether something is to be created.

    Just like it's up to him who leaves this earth (who dies).

    to me, both are equally bad.
