  1. You put in your Experienced man first, let the man with talent learn the game a little , but give the talent some reps & see how fast he picks up the offense, or defense.. What you want to do is have the guy with talent learn as much as possible & putting him in with out the experience might start him off wrong, where as if you put the experienced guy, the talented guy will see the deciions he makes in real game situations, & the talented guy will pick that up, then you put him in for reps once & a while & see what he does..it's better to get 20 reps at 100% than 100 at 20 % :)

  2. I would go with talent.  Put them in and they will gain experience.

  3. It all depends u would have to give a example.

Look at Mike Vick his rookie year. Chandler was the starter with more expirence but Vick clearly had more talent.

Well i would develop the more talented guy so he won't get exposed. Expirence always helps though

  4. Depends on the difference in talent, honestly.  If the guy with less experience is SIGNIFICANTLY more talented than the other guy...I'd go with him.  But if he's just slightly more talented...then I'd go with the more experienced guys.  Just depends on how far apart they are in talent.  Because at the end of the day...that's what counts most...is talent.  And for those who say it's not...just picture this.  Put all the 3rd string, 10-year plus guys on a team vs. all the rookie-2nd year players, and which team do you think will win?  Not the 3rd stringers...even though they're more experienced...the talent just isn't as great.

  5. Well this what  u should  do have the person with more experience  train the guy that have the talent but the guy with the  experience tell him what to do or not to do on the Field

  6. Well, if I were in that situation, I would go with more experience.  Someone that has talent is a good addition to a team, but if they have no idea what they are doing then the coache's responsibility is to put them in the game.  As it relates to experience, the one with more reps and experience usually is more knowledgable about the game.  Having talent is one thing, but when you've been through more games and you've built up a record of winning, then you know automatically what works in certain situations and what doesn't.  You also know how to avoid mistakes that you've seen before with more expereince as opposed to someone who just has talent but no experience..

  7. It all depends on the situation.  You want to make sure that you utilize your players wisely.  A player with more experience may be the perfect player for a particular situation, but a player with more talent may be the player to go to in a different situation.  A lot of factors go into deciding who to play when or even who to select as the starting quarterback.

Coaching football is more than just sticking some men on the field and expecting them to use their talents and/or experience to succeed.  There is a lot of strategy, planning, and reacting that coaches must exercise if they are going to be successful.

A good example is Ron Prince of K-State.  He chose Josh Freeman to be the starting quarterback, because he had more talent than the other QB's.  However, Prince had  time to allow Freeman to develope into a more experienced quarterback.  He was not in a do or die situation like the Nebraska coach was in at the time.

  8. Experience doesn't really matter if there is no talent. So,  I say a guy with more talent.
