  2. Anything by Alexandre Dumas or Mark Twain.  

  3. Shakespeare.

    Seriously books today don't have good language.

  4. I am not sure I completely understand your question - what do you mean from a "language perspective"?

    If you are referring to books that have well-written, or beautiful prose, or books that are very stylized, than I would suggest:

    Atonement by Ian McEwan

    On The Road by Jack Kerouac

    The Stones of Summer by Dow Mossman

    All are great novels that use amazingly beautiful language.
