From a scale of 1 to 10 how is the sound quality of a kicker 12" cvx and an alpine 12" type r?

Also which one can you FEEL the most?

compared to other subs i've heard i would give the cvx a 6 and the alpine a 5.5..

Kicker 7, Alpine 7.  Most serious bassheads don't have that high of opinion on the Type R (probably why the have the nickname Hype Rs) but if you just want some bass in a sealed enclosure like me you will be wowed by both.

cvx in my opinion sound cleaner than type r's id give it an 8 over a 7 for the alpines they're both good subs anyway
