A friend of mine, from denmark, is thinking about coming over to england to go through university. She said that she's been told previously that she doesn't need to get a visa for this aslong as she lives in europe, but she has recently been told that she would need one! I don't know that much about visas myself so I was hoping someone could clarify if she would need one or not?

  1. Your friend definitely doesn´t need a visa as both Denmark and the UK are in the EU. What she might need though is to register herself as a British resident when she gets here. I´m not sure what are the exact paperwork requirements are if you want to study - your best bet is to contact the British Embassy in Copenhagen or the Danish Embassy in London for more information. It shouldn´t be complicated.

  2. No visa required for all EU countries eg France Germany Denmark Sweden Poland Czech Republic Croatia Greece Cyprus Spain Potrtugal Irish Republic Lithuania Estonia Latvia Austria etc etc !

  3. Nooo. It was right the first time. Denmark is in the EU, so no need for a visa.
