From experience, which would you say is more suitable for a honeymoon- Ocho Rios or Montego Bay?

We're both adventurous and like to try new things and we're hopeless romantics (well, I am!). What are your experiences with either place & your dempgraphic would be helpful, too :) THANKS

Im Jamaican so i know Mobay is nice and everything but its very russ and rought people but ocho rios better

Ocho Rios...Best in every way

Since you are adventurous:

Try horseback riding while you are there..and climb the Falls at Dunns River Falls

You can easily go on a Day trip into Montego Bay

Drink the coconut water out of a coconut..they sell them on the carts and cut them open for you.

Ocho Rios way more romantic. My honey and I were in Ocho Rios and just had a blast Montego Bay Is really busy.

Although there is a similarity in how picturesque they both are Mo Bay is way more busy and is not such a couple friendly resort  than Ocho Rios. Ocho Rios boasts many more `couples only' resorts than Mo Bay also Ocho Rios is more of a active sort of place with lots to do (which should be planned beforehand to make sure you can fit in your activity days in with your relaxing on the beach at the hotel days) However if you fly in to Montego Bay some hotels are within 5 minutes of the airport on the transfers but at Ocho Rios it is usually about 2 hours same if you fly into Kingston. Montego Bay though boasts overall better, cleaner but more populous beaches if your a beach lover. But I overall feel if you want to have a romantic, adventurous and see Jamaica come to Ocho Rios you are in the heart of the Jamaica here and able to see any part of Jamaica within a short bus ride. enjoy!

BOTH ARE GOOD PLACES TO HAVE FUN AND ENJOY YOUR HONEYMOON IN EACH PLACE YOU COULD TAKE A DAY TRIP.  DO YOUR RESEARCH AT EACH PLACE AND CONTACT THE RESORT WHERE YOU AR STAYING TO SEE WHAT THEY OFFER HAS DAY TRIPS

It depends on what or where your planning to stay, but I rather Montego Bay.... although Ocho Rios has some cool place to check out...why not do both?

Neither try to go to Port Antonio if you must go to Jamaica

montego bay its more beautiful and quiet. ochi [ ocho rios] has a lot of city and shopping places.
