From munich airport (Franz Joseph), how do I get to the nearest train station?

Dead straightforward to do this.

There is an s-bahn (surface railway) station at the airport (follow the white and green signs to the platform)

Once you're at the station, there are ticket machines on the platform, trains leave every 20 minutes or so.

These trains will take you to the central train station (hauptbahnhof)

From there you can catch the train to Fussen, it leaves every 2 hours and costs 15 Euro off peak.
