All these qualities are must- haves for a balanced human being. But we need to see that these qualities are to be used where. Being honest is good, but a lie that can save a life or stop someone from being hurt is better than a thousand truths, unless you feel it is better that the person knows the truth. Giving respect to elders and juniors alike is also important. Respecting others for who they are and not what they could be is essential. But do not give respect to those who enjoy hurting others or enjoy watching others suffer. You should recognise others qualities and encourage them for what is right and what they are good at. You should never abandon your loved ones just because you don't need them anymore. You should strive to achieve perfection but not at the cost of leaving your loved ones behind, and should work together in such a way, that it allows for improvement for every individual that forms the group.

being honest: between people that matter in your life, respect and love etc this is very important because regardless of what is being said - negative or positive it is usually in the best interest of someone. there are some bastardo people who are dishonest and lie about people to either save their own backside or to make someone look bad.

respect is important - but then again do not throw your pearls at swines.

team work: there is no i in team. it is usually harder to work or to work towards a goal on your own.

it is important to have goals to work towards.

Dear Ash

Its a great list and an excellant starting point to being a better human being and a very successful person. Indeed the list is awesome. Instead of picking out more important qualities why not try to be a bit of all and work our way up to improve all the qualities more & more. I am going to try this from today. You too should try. Giving respect. I get so little of it at home that its become the number 1 thing I look for in a human being.
