From the new HP, how do I get a click like "mail" to refresh and not open a new window?

In the new Yahoo! My Page, clicking on "Mail" spawns a new window. How do I get it to not open a new window but just refresh the current page, and, yes, leave the Yahoo! My Page?

  1. put the preview mail module on and move it to the top of a column
