At the end of the eighth grade I noticed I was having difficulty writing with my right hand. I had always written with my right hand before I noticed the uncomfortable feeling in my wrist. Due to the number of advanced classes I was taking and my hard work ethic, I took so many notes and did so much homework involving writing that I am beginning to think I damaged my hand by simply straining it too much. Luckily I taught myself how to write in my left hand but it has been difficult for me because I loved to draw and now I can't. It's like I have lost complete control of my right hand. I only notice the problem when I try to draw or write. When I try to draw with it, it automatically twists into this really weird and uncomfortable position (as if it were crooked) and locks. I'll be entering the 10th grade in a week and I am now completely left handed and somewhat depressed because I can no longer draw. I've seen a specialist and have even used an arm brace and now I can use my right hand somewhat but only very slowly, making it difficult to write and draw. Could it be nerve damage? Please help!
