From weimar to paris?

what is the cheapest way to go to paris from weimar??

A flight from Leipzig Airport to Paris would be the cheapest (and also shortest) way to get to Paris.  

The train can be an alternative as well, but you'll be around 10-12 hours in the train until you arrive in Paris.

Edit: a train ticket from Weimar to Paris cost € 171 (one way!!) - I just have checked at http://www.bahn.de  (you also can make a search in English there).

Agree with TorstenB on flying from Leipzig Airport. It is definitely the best way.

See http://www.skyscanner.net for cheap flights. As the price for flights from LEJ to Paris is currently quite high, you should also search for flights leaving from Berlin. The savings might be substantial enough to warrant the detour. (The cheapest way from Leipzig to Berlin is with the Interconnex train, tickets start from 12 EUR.)

You can also check http://www.berlinlinienbus.de and http://www.deutsche-touring.de for possible bus connections.

Catch the train from Weimar to the connection points. The airport in Leipzig has a train station with service every 30 min, see http://www.bahn.de

Depending on how many of you are traveling it might be worth it to get a hire car (there are some really good deals out there, try

for example) and drive there.  The route planner reckons about 7 hours so the travel time is not too bad, I guess, considering that with a plane you need to get to the airport early etc.
