  1. Rise in East

    Sets in West

  2. Sun Rises in East and sets in west if you're anywhere below 67 Deg Latitude during July.

If you're above 67 Deg Latitude the sun just goes around you, it never sets.

  3. It depends on the time of year it is, and to a lesser extent on your location. For example, today, where I live in Coldwater Ontario Canada, the Sun rose at 56° azimuth (northeast). In Sydney Australia, it will rise at 63° azimuth. In six months' time, these directions will be: Coldwater 122° (SE), Sydney 118°.

  4. If you are at the North Pole, it rises and sets in the south.

If you are at the South Pole, it rises and sets in the north.

If you are on certain parts of the moon, it never sets.

  5. The sun rises from the east and sets in the west.
