From where can I buy real Indian Railways Used / Old Coach ?

I want to buy 3 Indian Railways Broad Gauge Used / Old Coaches ?

First of all I am really surprised to see such a question.  But if you really want to bye Indian railways coaches ,you should contact the Indian railways..........

old coaches are sold out to bidders. They are mostly purchased by scarp dealers. the coaches are dismantled and taken away. it would be quiet difficult to transport the whole coach to where you want.. as it is mostly dismantled at railway yards..

such coaches are being sold at parel of western railway by auction by stores department of railway. please try your luck

As far as my knowledge goes, selling of used or new coaches to individuals has not been done by Railway Board. All old and unused coaches are either dismantled or used internally by the department itself. The purpose for your purchase, whether it is for individual  or for running the the coaches commercially is an important one. In either case, you have to approach Railway Board/ Rail Bhavan/New Delhi with your proposal, purpose and offer price. After examining the feasibility, Railway Board may concur your proposal.
