I have done my Ph.D. on lichen taxonomy by revising the lichen family Teloschistaceae from India. Now I want to work in the field of lichen physiology, especially in Australia.

  1. From where? Lichenstein, of course

EDIT: Hey, Mr. Thumbs Down! Get a life, you humorless drudge. It was funny.

  2. Here you find a list of the societies of lichenologists all over the world:

    http://www.botany.hawaii.edu/cpsu/ls/lis...

    and some e-mail adresses:

    http://www.lichenology.org/index.html?/A...

You could send a letter or e-mail to the universities you are interested in.

BTW, what`s about your teacher, professor, supervisor? They normally have helpfull contacts.

  3. Lichen physiology -- best place would be the University of Tasmania -- researchers there have done lichen physiology work in Antarctica. Lichens are potentially useful in detecting environmental pollution and early signs of climate change.
