From where can i buy Rock climbing gears?

From where in Paris can i buy rock climbing gears , is it very expensive that i should be buying them from Germany or Belgium or just save time and transportation costs and buy them from Paris , please provide me with shop names and addresses as it is my first time for me to Paris and we really need to buy the climbing gears

The best shop in Paris for that sort of things is Le Vieux Campeur. It is a wonderful "store" that has been there for ages. I wrote "store" but in fact it is several shops scattered around the Quartier Latin. The main one is 48 rue des Ecoles, Paris 5e. Go there and ask for what you want, and then they will direct you to the right place. The shops are all very close to each other, within walking distance.
